Pre-MED Meetings

The II edition of ROME MED – MEDITERRANEAN DIALOGUES has been preceded by several “Pre-MED” sectorial meetings for selected audiences. These meetings aimed to address some of the most pressing and topical challenges to a new regional order.

In particular, institutional actors, experts, civil servants, and representatives of the business community and the media were offered the opportunity to come together and discuss viable options to enhance intraregional cooperation, economic development, security challenges, energy and climate change, transport and infrastructures, institution-building, and civil society networks.

All these “Pre-MED” meetings taking place in the context of MED turned Rome into a global hub for high-level dialogues on the Mediterranean.
