This annual conference, held in conjunction with the Doha Forum, provides a platform for discussing the region’s main economic challenges. The event, hosted by the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, gathers together 700 participants from 100 countries, including foreign trade ministers, venture capitalists, financiers, and experts from all over the world. It aims at finding solutions to overcome the economic challenges of the region, as well as the main regional problems that prevent development in the Middle East. During the main panels, the speakers discuss issues ranging from the economy, health and education to politics and security in the Middle East.
