Ameur Bchir

Ameur Bchir is Chief Executive Officer of STEG (Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz) and will hold the Presidency of Med-TSO (Association of 20 Mediterranean Transmission System Operators) for the next 3 years. He graduated from the École nationale supérieure d’électricité et de mécanique de Nancy-France, in 1975. He was later appointed at STEG as Project Manager. In 2009, he was appointed as Deputy General Manager of STEG and Administrator of the mixed Tunisian and Italian company ELMED.
