Gioia Ghezzi

Gioia Ghezzi is the Chair of the Group Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane’s Board. Previously, she was the CEO of International Group Risk Solutions at Zurich Insurance Group, served as the Chief Operating Officer of Willis Group, spent 11 years with McKinsey & Company as partner and leader of the insurance and health care practices, and held various positions at IBM and Academic Press. She holds a degree in theoretical physics from the University of Milan and an MBA from London Business School, where she won the first scholarship  for women at the Executive MBA programme.
