Valeria Termini

Valeria Termini has been Commissioner of the Italian Regulatory Authority for Electricity Gas and Water since 2011. She is also Vice-President of the Council of European Energy Regulators since 2013, and Vice-President of the Association of Mediterranean Energy Regulators since 2016. She holds the chair in Economics and Governance of the Energy Markets at the University of Roma Tre. From 2006 to 2008, she was Head of the G8, United Nations and OECD, and served as Personal Representative of the Prime Minister of Italy Romano Prodi in the Major Economies Meetings (MEM). She is the author of several articles and publications regarding energy policy, electricity futures markets, European institutions in the field of energy and climate change, regulation of public utilities and liberalization of electricity markets.
